RESOLUTION NO. 2023-163
RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC., SETTING
DATE OF BID OPENING AS APRIL 13, 2023, AND DATE OF
PUBLIC HEARING OF APRIL 17, 2023, IN CONJUNCTION
WITH THE WATERLOO REGIONAL AIRPORT AIRLINE
PASSENGER TERMINAL BUILDING HVAC CONTROLS
PROJECT, - FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION -
AIRPORT IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM, VIA GRANT NO. 03-
19-0094-054 - CARES DEVELOPMENT, AND DIRECT THE
CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the preliminary plans, specifications, form of contract, etc., in conjunction
with the Waterloo Regional Airport Improvements to the Airline Passenger Terminal Building,
Heating Ventilation and Cooling Controls, Project No. 3-19-0094-054, are hereby approved.
Section 2. That the bid opening, in conjunction with the Waterloo Regional Airport
Improvements to the Airline Passenger Terminal Building, Heating Ventilation and Cooling
Controls, Project No. 3-19-0094-054, be scheduled for April 13, 2023 at 1:00 p.m., City Hall,
Waterloo, Iowa.
Section 3. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, meet in the Harold E. Getty
Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa, at 5:30 p.m. on the 17th day of April 2023, to
hold a public hearing, in conjunction with the Waterloo Regional Airport Improvements to the
Airline Passenger Terminal Building, Heating Ventilation and Cooling Controls, Project No. 3-19-
0094-054.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place of
said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of March 2023.
