RESOLUTION MAKING AWARD OF CONTRACT TO
PETERSON CONTRACTORS, INC. OF REINBECK, IOWA,
FOR THE F.Y. 2010 RIVER RENAISSANCE TRAIL -
WEST 6TH STREET TO WEST 18TH STREET, CONTRACT
NO. 761, IN THE AMOUNT OF $477,197.01.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
That the bid of Peterson Contractors, Inc. of Reinbeck,
Iowa, in the amount of $477,197.01, for the construction of the
F.Y. 2010 River Renaissance Trail - West 6th Street to West 18th
Street, Contract No. 761, described in the plans and
specifications heretofore adopted by this Council for said
project, after public hearing on published notice required by
law, be and is hereby accepted, the same being the lowest bid
received for said work.
The Mayor and Deputy City Clerk are hereby directed to
execute contract with the said contractor for the construction of
said improvements, said contract not to be binding on the City
until approved by this Council.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 11th day of January, 2010.
