A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING FROM THE FEDERAL
REVENUE SHARING FUND THE SUM OF SIX HUNDRED
FIFTY FOUR THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED SEVENTY FIVE
DOLLARS ( $ 654,475.00 ) TO THE GENERAL FUND.
WHEREAS, the City Council passed the 1980-1981 Fiscal
Budget on March 11, 1980, allocating S 17,427. for C' Defense,
$ 29,817. for Visiting Nurses, $ 11,556. for Ve era Disease,
S 8,937. for Clean Community, $ 52,4.34-. for Sub ce Abuse,
$ 10,650. for Municipal Band , $ 94,325. for Park Equipment,
S 50,800. for Recreation Equipment, $ 10,000. for Grout Museum,
$ 2,500. for Urban 4-H, S 12,300. for Building Safety, $ 18,124.
for Housing Management, $ 37,500. for Council on Aging,
$ 230,000. for MET Transit, $ 46,185. for Engineering Equipment,
and $ 21,920. for INRCOG within the General Fund, and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that a transfer be made for the
amount of S 654,475.00 from the Federal Revenue Sharing Fund
to the General Fund , and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be instructed
to certify a copy of this Resolution to the City Treasurer of the
City of Waterloo, Iowa in order that said transfer be made.
Passed and adopted this 26th day of January 1981.
