Form of Contract, And Estimate of
Cost For the FY 2023 ASPHALT
OVERLAY PROGRAM
In Me City of Waterloo, Iowa
CONTRA CT NO. 1073
RECEMNG OF BIDS
Sealed proposals will be received by the
City Clerk of the City of Waterloo, Iowa. at
her office in the City Hall of the said City
an the III day of March. 2023 until 1:00
p.m. for the construction of the FY 2023
ASPHALT OVERLAY PROGRAM, Con-
tract No. 1073. as described in detail in
the pans and specifications now on file in
the Office of the City Clerk.
OPENING OF BIDN
All propose% received will be opened in
the Fist Floor Conference Room at City
Halt, in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, on the
30th day of March, 2023 at 1:00 p.m., and
the proposals will be acted upon at such
later time and pace as may then be fixed
by the City Council.
PUBLIC HEARING.
Notice is hereby given that the Council of
said City will conduct a public hearing on
the proposed plans, spn ifvatians, form
of contract, and estimate of coat for the
concoction of the above -described im-
provement project at 5:30 p.m. on the HLd
day of April. 2023 said hearing to be held
in the Harold E. Getty Council Chambers
in City Hall in said City. The proposed
plans, specifications, form of contract,
and estimate of cost for said improve-
ments heretofore prepared by the City of
Waterloo are now on file in the office of
the City Clerk for public examination, and
any person interested therein may file
written abjection thereto with the City
Clerk before the date set for said hearing,
or appear and make objection thereto
with the City Clerk before the date set for
said hearing, or appear and make
objection thereto at the meeting above set
forth.
SCOPE OF WORK
The extent of the work involved is the
rolling of existing asphalt streets or
cradong and seating of concrete streets.
Placing a new hot mix asphalt overlay on
these streets and any other work needed
to conplete the overlay of said streets.
