A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE FIRST AMENDMENT OF A CONTRACT BETWEEN THE CITY OF
WATERLOO AND NEIGHBORHOOD HOUSING SERVICES OF WATERLOO.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo entered into a contract with Neighborhood
Housing Services of Waterloo on May 24, 1979; and
WHEREAS, said contract provided Neighborhood HOusing Services with
funds from the City's Community Development Block Grant program for a Revolving
Loan Fund; and
WHEREAS, Neighborhood Housing Service is desirous of amending said
contract so that these loan funds may be sold to Neighborhood Housing Services
of America; and
WHEREAS, Neighborhood Housing Services of America will return the
principal and interest generated through this process to the City's Community
Development Block Grant Program Income account; and
WHEREAS, these funds would be re-programmed into the Neighborhood
Housing Service's Revolving Loan Fund.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO that the amendment to the contract between the Neighborhood Housing
Services of Waterloo and the City be hereby approved.
