RESOLUTION APPROVING PAYMENT OF $3 , 129 . 00 ACCUMULATED
SICK LEAVE AND VACATION PAY TO RUTH BENEDICT RETIRED
AS AN EMPLOYEE OF THE MAYOR'S OFFICE IN THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA.
WHEREAS , on the 28th day of January, 1981 , Ruth Benedict retired
as an employee of the Mayor ' s Office in the City of Waterloo , Iowa,
and
WHEREAS , Ruth Benedict has accumulated 360 hours of sick leave and
is entitled to payment for same , and
WHEREAS , Ruth Benedict has earned and is entitled to 87 hours
vacation pay, now, therefore ,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that Ruth Benedict be paid the total sum of $3 , 129 . 00 being payment
in full for above mentioned sick leave and earned vacation, and
that the Finance Director be, and he is hereby, authorized, empowered
and ordered to draw a warrant accordingly for said sum and deliver
the same to Ruth Benedict .
Passed and adopted by City Council on the 12th day of January,
1981, approved by the Mayor on the 14th day of January, 1981 .
