RESOLUTION APPROVING THE CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION AND
RECOMMENDATION OF ACCEPTANCE ,AS TO WORK AND MATERIALS
FURNISHED BY LEHMAN TRUCKING AND EXCAVATING FOR THE
F.Y. 1978 SANITARY SEWER PROGRAM I ,CONTRACT NO. 190
AND AUTHORIZING PAYMENT ACCORDINGLY.
WHEREAS , Lehman Trucking and Excavating of Waterloo, Iowa,
have under contract with the City of Waterloo , Iowa, dated November
7 , 1977 , furnished certain materials and performed labor in con-
nection with the construction of the F.Y. 1978 Sanitary Sewer
Program I , Contract No . 190 , in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, and
WHEREAS , the Completion Report of the City Engineer for the
work performed and materials furnished by the said contractors
under said contract is $25 , 995 . 18 being the total construction
cost of the project , and
WHEREAS ,under the terms of said contract said contractors ,
Lehman Trucking and Excavating, are to be paid 90% of the monthly
estimates as furnished by the Engineers of the City of Waterloo ,
Iowa, and
WHEREAS , said Constructors have been previously paid the
amount of $22 , 815 . 97 as per the Engineer' s Report of January
8 , 1980 , 1eaving a balance due of $579 . 69 ,now, therefore ,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
�{1 that the Completion Report of the City Engineer be approved, said

ET-1 paymentin full on said contract, and that the Finance Director be,
sand he is hereby authorized, empowered and ordered to draw a
