adopted:
RESOLUTION NO. 26744
(CONTRACT #166)
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING WORK
WHEREAS, on May 29, 1979, Waterloo, Iowa, entered into
contract with Hurst Excavating, Inc. , of Waterloo, Iowa, for
the construction of Section I of the Waterloo, Iowa, F.Y. 1979
Paving Program No. 1, Contract #166, within the City, as
therein described; and
WHEREAS, said contractor has fully completed the construc-
tion of said improvements, known as Section I of the Waterloo,
Iowa, F.Y. 1979 Paving Program No. 1, Contract #166, in accor-
dance with the terms and conditions of said contract and plans
and specifications, as shown by the certificate of the
Engineer filed with the Clerk on DECEMBER 26 , 1979 :
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
That said report of the Engineer be and the same is hereby
approved and adopted and said Section I improvements are
hereby approved and accepted as having been fully completed in
accordance with the said plans, specifications and contract,
and the total project cost of the Section I improvements under
said contract is hereby determined to be $ 280,972.60 as shown
in said report of the Engineer.
