PREPARATION OF FINAL PLAT AND SCHEDULE
OF ASSESSMENTS
WHEREAS, on May 29, 1979, Waterloo, Iowa, entered into
contract with Hurst Excavating, Inc. , of Waterloo, Iowa,
(Section I) ; a contract with Irving F. Jensen Co. , Inc. , of
Sioux City, Iowa, (Section II) ; a contract with Aspro, Inc. ,
of Waterloo, Iowa, (Section III ) ; and a contract with Assink
Bros . , Inc. , of Cedar Falls, Iowa, (Section IV) ; all for the
construction of the Waterloo, Iowa, F.Y. 1979 Paving Program
No. 1, Contract #166, within the City, as therein described;
and
WHEREAS, said contractors have fully completed the construc-
tion of said improvements, known as the Waterloo, Iowa, F.Y.
1979 Paving Program No. 1, Contract #166, in accordance with
the terms and conditions of said contracts and plans and speci-
fications, as shown by the certificates of the Engineer filed
with the Clerk on DECEMBER 26, , 1979 , JANUARY 14
19 80 , DECEMBER 26 , 19 79 , and NOVEMBER 13 , 19 79 ;
and

WHEREAS, on JANUARY 1/4 , 19 80 , a resolution was
adopted by the Council accepting the work performed by Hurst
Excavating, Inc. , of Waterloo, Iowa, for Section I ; on
JANUARY 14 , 1980 , a resolution was adopted by the
Council accepting the work performed by Irving F. Jensen Co. ,
Inc. , of Sioux City, Iowa, for Section II ; on JANUARY 14
1980 , a resolution was adopted by the Council accepting the
work performed by Aspro, Inc. , of Waterloo, Iowa, for Section
III ; and on JANUARY 14 , 19 80 , a resolution was adopted
by the Council accepting the work performed by Assink Bros . ,
Inc. , of Cedar Falls, Iowa, for Section IV:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
That the Engineer is hereby instructed to prepare a final
plat and schedule showing the separate lots or parcels of
ground subject to assessment for the cost of said improve-
ments, together with the names of the owners thereof, so far
as practicable, and the amount assessable by law against each
lot or parcel of ground so assessable, and against any 1 _iway
or street railway legally assessable therefor, and part of the
whole amount of the cost of said improvements shall be
assessed against the benefited properties, but not in excess
of the amounts so assessed in the preliminary plat and sche-
dule for the improvement, and filed in the office of the
Clerk.
