WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo is the owner of real property in the City of Waterloo,as described below, and WHEREAS, an offer to purchase sais certain parcel of real property in the sum of $360 .00 plus costs ,has been made by David H.Buck on behalf of Matt Parrott and Sons Company and $240 .00 plus costs, has been made by Craftbuilt Homes of Waterloo, Inc .aand WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on February 25 ,1980 at 7 :00 P.M. in the Council Chambers in City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa, as provided by law, by the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa on the proposal to sell and convey permises owned by the City of Waterloo, Iowa, to David H. Buck on behalf of Matt Parrott and Sons Company and Craftbuilt Homes of Waterloo, Inc . WHEREAS, it is the opinion of this Council that sale and conveyance should be made as proposed. NOW THEREFORE,it is hereby resolved by the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, as follows : 1. The following described real property, as fully described in the published notice in the Waterloo Courier on February 15, 1980, is not presently needed and will not be needed in the foreseeable future for municipal purposes and its ownership is serving no municipal purpose and, 2 . That the offer of David H.Buck on behalf of Matt Parrott and Sons Company to purchase real property for the sum of three hundred sixty and 00/100 ($360 .00)dollars and costs be, and it is hereby accepted for real property described below: All that part of the 16 foot east-west alley located in Block 9 ,Ricker and Bratncber Land Company Addition to Waterloo, Iowa, lying east of a point described as being 10 feet east and parallel to the center-line of the most easterly track as now located of the Waterloo Railroad Company Page 2 3. That the offer of David H. Buck on behalf of Craftbuilt Homes of Waterloo, Inc. to purchase real property for the sum of two hundred forty and 00/100($240 .00) dollars and costs be, and it is hereby accepted for real property described below: All that part of the 16 foot east-west alley located adjacent to Lots 1,2,3,21,22,23, Block 9 , Ricker and Bratnober Land Company Addition to Waterloo Iowa. 4. That the City of Waterloo, Iowa, convey said parcels of real Property to David H.Buck on behalf of Matt Parrott and Sons Company and Craftbuilt Homes, of Waterloo Inc . by Quit Claim Deed, the form of which is hereto attached and approved. 5 . That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to ex- ecute and deliver deed to David Ho Buck on behalf of Matt Parrott and Soms Company and Craftbuilt Homes of Waterloo, Inc . 6 . That the original of said deeds fully executed and acknowledged having been submitted with this Resolution the same is hereby approved and confirmed by the Council. 7 . That the City Clerk is authorized and directed to deliver ' said deeds of conveyance to David H.Buck on behalf of Matt Parrott and Sons Company and Craftbuilt Homes of Waterloo, Inc . upon receipt of the sum of three hundred sixty ($360 .00) and 00/100 and costs and two hundred forty ($240 .00) and 00/100 plus costs respectively.
