RESOLUTION APPROVING THE SITE PLAN FOR FAITH EVANGELICAL
LUTHERAN CHURCH.
WHEREAS, Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church has proposed
that the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, approve a site
plan for the construction of a new building to be located at the
intersection of West Ridgeway Avenue and West Fourth Street and
legally described as follow:
The North 331. 13 feet of the Northeast Fractional kof
Section 5 ,Township 88 North, Range 13 West of the 5th
Principal Meridan,Black Hawk County, Iowa,lying East of
West Fourth street and West of West Ridge Addition, more
particularly described as follow:
Beginning at a point on the North line of Section 5-88-13
which bears South 890 52 West a distance of 1270 feet from
the North-east corner of said Section _ ;thence South 00°
08 ' East on a line perpendicular to the North line of said
Section D a distance of 250 .81 feet to the Southwest corner
of Lot 3 of West Ridge Addition;thence South 24°07 ' West a
distance of 88.09 feet along the westerly line of said
West Ridge Addition to a point 331.13 feet perpendicular
distance South from the North line of said Section 5;
thence South 89° 52 ' West on a line parallel to the North
line of said Section 5 a distance of 922 .72 feet more or
less to the centerline of West 4th Street;thence North 49°
06 ' East along the centerline of said West 4th Street, a
distance of 507 . 1 feet more or less to the intersection of
the centerline of West 4th Street and the North line of
said Section 5;thence North 89° 52 ' East along the North
line of said Section 5 a distance of 574.83 feet more or
less to the point of beginning . Excepting all legal streets
and highways.
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on February 2 , 1980 at
7 :00PM. in the Council Chambers in City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa, as
provided by law,by the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, on
the proposal to approve said above mentioned site plan, and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of this Council that said site
plan should be approved as proposed,now,therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO,
IOWA,that the site plan for the construction of a new building for
Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church located at the intersection of
West Ridgeway Avenue and West Fourth Streets ,be and the same is
hereby approved.
Passed and adopted this 25th day of February,1980,approved
by the Mayor this 27th day of February, 1980
