RESOLUTION REJECTING ALL BIDS FOR REPAIRS TO THE
ELEVENTH STREET AND FALLS AVENUE BRIDGES,CONTRACT
NO. 16,AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY ENGINEER TO REVISE
THE SCOPE OF WORK,AND READVERTISE FOR BIDS.
WHEREAS,a public hearing was held on February 18,1980 by
the City Council of the City of Waterloo, as required by law,and
WHEREAS, no objections were heard against the plans and
specifications, and
WHEREAS, bids were received for the project, and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has reviewed all bids and re-
commends the rejection of all bids , now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO,IOWA
AS FOLLOWS :
1 . All bids be rejected and bid bonds returned to the respective
bidders ,and
2 . The scope of work be revised as suggested by Brice,Petrides, and
Associates, Inc . ,and
3. That the Clerk be instructed to republish notice of hearing as
provided by law with hearing to be held on March 17, 1980,at
7:00P.M. in the City Hall Council Chambers .
Passed and adopted this 25th day of February, 1980 .
