RESOLUTION DENYING THE FACT-FINDERS REPORT IN THE
MATTER OF THE IMPASSEE BETWEEN THE WATERLOO FIRE
FIGHTERS LOCAL 66 AND THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA.
WHEREAS, repeated attempts have been made by the City of
Waterloo and the Waterloo Fire Fighters Local 66 regarding the
collective bargaining agreement covering the period of July 1, 1980
through June 30,1981 and
WHEREAS, both parties participated in a fact-finding hearing
held on January 29 ,1980 at which time no issues were resolved, and
WHEREAS, a fact-finder has presented his report on the above
mentioned impassee, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
that the fact-finders report be rejected and that binding ar-
bitration proceedings be initiated.
