RESOLUTION APPROVING THE COMPLETION REPORT AND RE-
COMMENDATION OF ACCEPTANCE AS TO WORK AND MATERIALS
FURNISHED BY TAYLOR-ISENHOWER, INC. FOR REPAIRS TO
THE SLOPE PROTECTION PAVEMENT FOR MULLAN AVENUE
CONTRACT NO. 15 ACCEPTING THE WORK AND AUTHORIZING
PAYMENT IN FULL ACCORDINGLY.
WHEREAS, Taylor-Isenhower, Inc. of Hudson, Iowa, have under
contract with the City of Waterloo, Iowa, dated November 19 , 1979 ,
furnished certain materials and performed labor in connection with
the repairs to the Slope Protection Pavement for Mullan Avenue,
Contract No. 15 ,in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, and
WHEREAS, the Completion Report of the Engineers for the work
performed and materials furnished by the said contractors, under
saia contract, is $13, 176. 80 being the total construction cost o:
this project ,and
WHEREAS, the Completion Report and Recommendation of Accep-
tance dated February 13, 1980,of Engineers, certify that the work
on this project has now beencompleted by said contractors,now,
therefore
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
That Completion Report and the Recommendation of Acceptance of
the Engineers be approved,the work of Taylor-Isenhower, Inc . of
Hudson, Iowa, accepted,that saia contractors,Taylor-Isenhower Inc .
Hudson Iowa, be paid the sum of $13, 176 . 80,being payment in full
in accordance with the Engineers Report ,and the Finance Director
be,and he is hereby,authorized, empowered and ordered to draw a
warrant accordingly for the sum of $13, 176. 80 and deliver the same
to the said Taylor-Isenhower Inc . ,Hudson, Iowa.
Passed and adopted this 25th day of February, 1980,.
