BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
That the bid of Ray Waschkat Plumbing of Waterloo, Iowa for Section 1 and
Black Hawk Plumbing of waterloo, Iowa for Section II
of for the 600 Block North Barclay Street,
Sanitary Service Relocation, Contract No. 194.
in the City of Waterloo, Iowa , filed with the City Clerk in accordance
with the terms of the published notice calling for proposals for the
constructions of the said improvement , be, and the
Ray Waschkat Plumbing of Waterloo for
same is hereby, accepted, the bid of Section I and Black Hawk Plumbing of
Waterloo for Section II
in the amountsof $ 742.60 & $13,752.50, , being the lowest legal bid
irrespectively
received on said proposal, and that the contract be awarded to
Ray Waschkat Plumbing for Section I and Black
Hawk Plumbing for Section II 06( for the 600 Block North Barclay
Street, Sanitary Service Relocation,
and Contract No. 194.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk be, and
they are hereby, authorized, instructed and ordered to enter into a
contract on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa , for the
construction of the said improvement with the said Ray Waschkat
Plumbing & Black Hawk Plumbing but said contract shall not be binding
upon said city until the same has been duly approved by the council.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all other bids for said improvement
be, and they are hereby, rejected, and the City Clerk is hereby
authorized end directed to return unto the persons filing the same
the certified checks accompanying such rejected bids.
