RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
HEARING TO BE GIVEN ON APPLICATION OF
YOUNGBLUT CONSTRUI'ION COMPANY, TO REZONE
FROM "A--1" AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT TO "M-1"
LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT .A PARCEL OF LAND
NORTH OF E. SHAULIS ROAD AND EASTERLY OF
U.S. HIGHWAY 218 AS APRIL 28, 1980, AT
7:00 P.M. IN THE COUNCIL CHAMBERS IN CITY
HALL AND INSTRUCTING CLERK TO PUBLISH THE
NOTICE OF HEARING.
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, shall meet in
the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of Waterloo, Iowa at
7:00 P.M. , on the 28th day of April, 1980 for the purpose of consider-
ing and acting upon an application of Youngblut Construction Company, to
rezone from "A-1" Agricultural District to "M-1" Light Industrial District
a parcel of land generally located north of E . Shaulis Road and easterly
of U.S . Highway 218 and legally described as follows:
A part of the SW4 of Section 7-88-12, Waterloo, Black Hawk County,
Iowa, described a+s follows:
Beginning at the Intersection of the West line of said S.W4
and a line that is 1000.00 feet normally distant from the
center line of U.S. Hwy. No. 218, as now established, also
known as LaPorte Road; thence North along the West line of
said SW4 to the Southwesterly R-O-W line of the Chicago,
Rock Island and Pacific Railroad; thence Southeasterly along
said railroad R-O-W to a point that is 1081 . 25 feet normally
distant from the West line of said SW4; thence Southerly
along a line parallel to and 1081 . 25 feet normally distant
from the West line of said Section 7-88-12 to a point that
is 700.00 feet South of the North line of the SZ to the SW4
of said Section 7-88-12; thence Westerly parallel to the
North line of the S 2 of the SW-4 of said Section 7-88-12 to
a point that is 1000.00 feet normally distant from said
center line of U.S.Hwy. No. 218; thence Northwesterly along
a line 1000.00 feet normally distant from said center line
of U.S.Hwy. No. 218 to the point of beginning, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time
and place of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
