RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID OF CHRISTENSEN
OF CHEROKEE, IOWA FOR SHAULIS RD. BRIDGE OVERRSIN. , INC.

AL PROJECT NO. M-6470(1)--81-07 IN THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
IN THE AMOUNT OF $184,138.06. SHAULIS RD. BRIDGE OVER SINK
CONTRACT NO. 200.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
That the bid of Christensen Bros. , Inc. of Cherokee, Iowa for the
Rd. Bridge over Sink Creek, Federal Project No. M-6470 1 - Shaulis
-
Cityof W ( ) 81-07 in the
Waterloo, Iowa, filed with the City Clerk in accordance with the
terms of the published notice calling for proposals for the construction
of the said improvement, be, and the same is hereby,
accepted, the bid
Christensen Bros. , Inc. in the amount of $184,138.06, beingthe
legal bid received on said proposal , and that the contract
lowest
act be awarded to
Christensen Bros. , Inc. of Cherokee, Iowa, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk be, and they
are hereby, authorized, instructed and ordered to enter into a contr
on behalf of the Cityact
of Waterloo, Iowa, for the construction of the
said improvement with the said Christensen Bros. , Inc. , but said
con-
tract shall nctbe binding upon said city until the same has been
approved byduly
the council .
BE ITFURTHER RESOLVED that all other bids for said improvement b and they are hereby, e'
rejected, and the City Clerk is hereby authorized
and directed to return unto the persons filing the same the certified
checks accompanying such rejected bids.
