REPAIRS TO THE 11TH STREET & FALLS AVENUE BRIDGES
(CONTRACT NO . 16)
RESOLUTION MAKING AWARD OF
CONTRACT
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO , IOWA:
That the bid of Waterloo Construction Company, of Waterloo ,
Iowa, in the amount of $233, 485 . 20 , for the construction of the
Repairs to the llth Street & Falls Avenue Bridges , Contract No. 16,
described in the plans and specifications heretofore adopted by
this Council for said project, after public hearing on published
notice required by law, be and is hereby accepted, the same being
the lowest bid received for said work.
The Mayor and Clerk are hereby directed to execute contract with
the said contractor forte construction of said improvements , said
contract not to be binding on the City until approved by this Council.
PASSED AND APPROVED, this 14th day of April, 1980 .
