HomeMy WebLinkAbout26945 RESOLUTION NO. 26945 RESOLUTION APPROVING AND ACCEPTING THE STATEMENT DATED JANUARY 31 , 1980 FROM CHICAGO & NORTHWESTERN TRANSPORTATION COMPANY ON W. RIDGEWAY AVENUE FOR SERVICES FOR GRADE CROSSINGS, AND AUTHORIZING PAYMENT ACCORDINGLY. WHEREAS, Chicago & Northwestern Transportation Company, have rendered services in connection with the grade crossings on W. Ridgeway Avenue in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, and WHEREAS, the amount of the cost for said services, rendered by the said Chicago & Northwestern Transportation Company, as shown in their statement dated January 31 , 1980, is $11 ,070.22, now, therefore BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA: That Chicago & Northwestern Transportation Company be paid the sum of $11 ,070.22 being payment for the statement dated January 31 , 1980, on said contract for services rendered in connection with the grade crossings on W. Ridgeway Avenue, in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, and the Finance Director, be, and he is hereby, authorized, empowered and ordered to draw a warrant accordingly for said sum and deliver the same to the said Chicago & Northwestern Transportation Company.
