RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
HEARING AND NOTICE TO BE GIVEN ON APPLI-
CATION OF TACO BELL, INC. , TO REZONE FROM
"R-2" ONE AND TWO FAMILY RESIDENCE DISTRICT
TO "C-2" COMMERCIAL DISTRICT A PARCEL OF PRO-
PERTY GENERALLY LOCATED WEST OF U.S. HIGHWAY
218 AND NORTH OF HOWARD AVENUE AS MAY 26, 1980
AT 7:00 P.M. IN THE COUNCIL CHAMBERS IN CITY
HALL AND INSTRUCTING CLERK TO PUBLISH THE
NOTICE OF HEARING.
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, shall
meet in the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of
Waterloo, Iowa at 7:00 o' clock P.M. , on the 26th day of May,
1980 for the purpose of considering and acting upon an applic-
ation of Taco Bell , Inc. , to rezone from "R-2" One and Two
Family Residence District to "C-2" Commercial District a par-
cel of property generally located west of U.S. Highway 218 and
north of Howard Avenue and legally described as Lots 236, 237,
238, 239, 240 in Pleasant View Addition, City of Waterloo, Black
Hawk County, Iowa, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa
that the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the
time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo, Courier.
Passed and adopted this 5th day of May, 1980.
