A RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
HEARING AND NOTICE TO BE GIVEN ON VACATION
OF A PORTION OF POPLAR STREET, AS JUNE 2,
1980, AT 7 :00 P.M. IN COUNCIL CHAMBERS OF
CITY HALL AND INSTRUCTING THE CITY CLERK
TO PUBLISH NOTICE OF HEARING.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1 - That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, shall
meet in the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of Water-
loo, Iowa at 7 :00 o' clock P.M. , on the 2nd day of June, 1980, for
the purpose of considering and acting upon a proposal to vacate a
portion of Poplar Street requested by Joyce M. Goss and Paul L . and
Donna M. Hamilton owned by the City of Waterloo, Iowa, described
as follows:
All that part of Poplar Street located west of
the westerly right-of-way line of Riverside Drive,
Cedar River Park in the City of Waterloo, Black
Hawk County, Iowa.
Section 2 - That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish
notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo
Courier.
Passed and adopted this 12th day of May, 1980.
