RESOLUTION .APPROVING AN INCREASE IN AMBULANCE
FEE SERVICE FOR THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo provides ambulance services
for all persons residing within the City, and
WHEREAS, no increase in services has been undertaken since
the inception of ambulance services by the City of Waterloo in
the year 1973, and
WHEREAS, as the costs of gasoline, salaries, and capital
equipment has risen substantially since 1973,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Waterloo, Iowa that the following fee schedule be adopt-
ed:
Emergency Call $57 . 50
Transfer $37 . 50
Iowa City $237 . 50
Rochester $287 . 50
Other cities - $57 . 50 + $2.00 per mile one way .
Incubator - $60.00 + $2.00 per mile one way if out of city.
For transporting two patients to the same hospital . . . $37. 50 each
To transport deceased person to a hospital or funeral home. $37. 50
Emergency call where first aid is given but patient in not
trasported . $37. 50
Passed and adopted this 19th day of May, 1980.
