A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM BUDGET
BY TRANSFERRING FUNDS IN THE AMOUNT OF $10,863 FROM CONTINGENCIES TO PUBLIC
WORKS, FACILITIES AND SITE IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo entered into an Agreement with the
Federal Government approving the Community Development Block Grant Program
and Budget; and
WHEREAS, an amount of $7,500 was budgeted for the Cedar River
Park Lagoon; and
WHEREAS, the Cedar River Park Lagoon was under-budgeted by
$10,863 in order to complete the removal of the siltation from the Lagoon;
and
WHEREAS, there are funds available in the Contingency Fund.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA that the Community Development Block Grant Budget as
previously approved, be revised by transferring the sum of $10,863.00 from
Contingencies to Public Works, Facilities, and Site Improvements.
Passed and adopted this 19 day of May, 1980.
