RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING MAYOR TO EXECUTE CONTRACT WITH BRICE,
PETRIDES, & ASSOCIATES, INC. FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR SINK
CREEK LOWER CHANNEL.
WHEREAS, the potential exists for flooding along the Sink Creek basin
located in the southeasterly quadrant of the City of Waterloo, and
WHEREAS, no drainage study has been undertaken for Sink Creek located
between U.S. Highway 218 and the Cedar River, and
WHEREAS, under C.R. #78524 of May 27, 1980 authorization was given to
Brice, Petrides, & Associates, Inc. to prepare a cost estimate for the portion
of Sink Creek located between U.S. Highway 218 and the Cedar River, now
WHEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA that
the Mayor be authorized to execute a contract with Brice, Petrides, & Associates,
Inc. for engineering services for Sink Creek Lower Channel .
Passes and adopted this 9th day of June, 1980.
