RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF HEARING TO BE GIVEN
ON APPLICATION OF YOUNB3LUT CONSTRUCTION CO. , TO RE-ZONE FROM
"R-4" MULTIPLE FAMILY RESIDENCE DISTRICT TO "C-1" COMMERCIAL
DISTRICT A PARCEL OF LAND GENERALLY LOCATED SOUTHWESTERLY OF U.S.
HIGHWAY 218 & SOUTH OF EAST SHAULIS ROAD AS JULY 21st, 1980
AT 7:0OP.M. IN THE COUNCIL CHAMBERS IN CITY HALL AND IN-
STRUCTING CLERK TO PUBLISH THE NOTICE OF HEARING.
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, shall meet in the
Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of Waterloo, Iowa at 7:00 P.M. on
the 21st day of July, 1980 for the purpose of considering and acting upon an
application of Youngblut Construction Co. , to rezone from "R-4" Multiple Family
Residence District to "C-1" Commercial District, a parcel of land generally
located Southwesterly of U.S. Highway 218 & South of East Shaulis Road and
legally described as follows:
A parcel of land located in the SW4 of Section 18-88-12, Waterloo, Black
Hawk County, Iowa, described as follows :
Commencing at the NE corner of the SW4 of said Section 18; thence N. 89° 51 '
55" W. along the North line of the SW4 of said Section 18 a distance of
839.03 feet to the point of beginning, said point lying on the South-
westerly R-O-W line of U.S. Hwy. No, 218; thence S. 36 04' 11" E. along
said Southwesterly R-O-W line a distance of 142. 16 feet; thence N. 53°
55' 49" E. along said Southwesterly R-O-W line a distance of 50.00 feet;
thence S. 36° 04' 11" E. along said Southwesterly R-O-W line a distance of
119.45 feet; thence S. 53° 55' 49" W. a distance of 470.58 feet; thence
N. 16° 08' 48" E. a distance of 157.51 feet; thence N. 05° 10' 17" E. a
distance of 182.80 feet; thence N. 28° 40' 02" W. a distance of 14 .82
feet to the North line of the SW4 of said Section 18; thence S. 89 51'
55" E. a distance of 194.64 feet to the pint of bea-inning.
The North line of the SW4 of Section 18-88-12 is assumed to bear S. 89°
51' 55" E. .
now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa that the City
Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place of said hearing
in the Waterloo Courier.
