RESOLUTION APPROVING CONTRACTS AND PROMISSORY
NOTES FOR THE DISASTER RECOVERY BUSINESS
RENTAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM WITH THE IOWA
DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AND
DIRECTING EXECUTION OF SAID DOCUMENTS BY
MAYOR.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the Contracts and Promissory Notes dated January 19, 2010,
for the Disaster Recovery Business Rental Assistance Program with
the following businesses:
Scott's Electric, Inc., 2057 and 2072 Howard Avenue $30,000.00
Fontana Bar, 801 Commercial Street $15,000.00
Waterloo Butcher Shop, 805 Commercial Street $ 9,000.00
Rousselow, Inc. d.b.a. Leer's Cycle Center,
35-37 Fletcher Avenue $19,800.00
John S. Pieters, Sr., 722 Water Street, Suite 302 $ 6,054.00
by and between the Iowa Department of Economic Development and
the City of Waterloo, Iowa, be and the same are hereby approved,
and the Mayor authorized to execute the same in behalf of the
City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 19th day of January, 2010.
