RESOLUTION .APPROVING :AND .ACCEPTING THE
STATEMENT DATED MAY 20, 1980 FROM BRICE ,
PETRIDES & .ASSOCIATES, INC. , ENGINEERS,
FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR BRIDGE PAINT-
ING & REPAIRS - FALLS .AVENUE BRIDGE & llth
STREET BRIDGE, CONTRACT NO. 16, AND .AUTHOR-
IZING PAYMENT ,ACCORDINGLY.
WHEREAS, Brice, Petrides & Associates, Inc. , Engineers,
Waterloo, Iowa, have rendered engineering services in con-
nection with the Bridge Painting & Repairs - Falls Avenue &
llth Street Bridge, Contract No. 16 in the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, and
WHEREAS, the amount of the cost for said engineering
services, rendered by the said Brice, Petrides & Associates,
Inc. , as shown in their statement dated May 20, 1980, is
$19,054.43, now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO,
IOWA: That Brice, Petrides & Associates, Inc. , be paid the
sum of $19,054.43 being payment for the statement dated May
20, 1980 , on said contract for engineering services rendered
in connection with the Bridge Painting & Repairs - Falls
Avenue Bridge & lIth Street Bridge, Contract No. 16, in the
City of Waterloo, Iowa, and the Finance Director, be, and he
is hereby, authorized , empowered and ordered to draw a warrant
accordingly for said sum and deliver the same to the said Brice,
Petrides & Associates, Inc. , of Waterloo, Iowa.
Passed and adopted this 23rd day of June, 1980.
