A RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF HEARING
AND NOTICE TO BE GIVEN ON VACATION OF A THIRTY (30)
FOOT CONSTRUCTION EASEMENT GENERALLY LOCATED NORTH
OF DOWNING AVENUE AND APPROXIMATELY 125' WEST OF
DOREEN AVENUE AS JULY 28, 1980, AT 7:00 P.M. IN
COUNCIL CHAMBERS OF CITY HALL AND INSTRUCTING THE
CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH THE NOTICE OF HEARING.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1 - That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, shall meet in the
Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, at 7:00 P.M. ,
on the 28th day of July, 1980, for the purpose of considering and acting
upon a proposal to vacate a thirty (30) foot construction easement generally
located north of Downing Avenue and approximately 125' west of Doreen Avenue
requested by Homz Partners, owned by the City of Waterloo, Iowa, described as
follows :
Beginning at the Northwest corner of Lot One (1 ) ,
Charles Addition; thence South along the West line
of Charles Addition and the West line of Charles
Addition extended to the North property line of
Downing Avenue; thence West along the North line of
Downing Avenue a distance of thirty (30) feet; thence
North along a line thirty (30) feet from and parallel
with the West line of Charles Addition extended to
the South line of Sager Avenue; thence East along the
South line of Sager Avenue to the point of beginning,
all in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.
Section 2 - That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the
time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
Passed and adopted this 7th day of July, 1980.
