.A RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE
OF HEARING AND NOTICE TO BE GIVEN ON
VACATION OF A PORTION OF BOPP STREET
LYING BETWEEN U.S. HIGHWAY 218 AND PRO-
POSED FREEWAY I-380 .AS JULY 28, 1980 AT
7:00 P.M. IN COUNCIL CHAMBERS. OF CITY
HALL AND INSTRUCTING THE CITY CLERK TO
PUBLISH THE NOTICE OF HEARING.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1 - That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa,
shall meet in the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City
of Waterloo, Iowa at 7 :00 P.M. , on the 28th day of July, 1980 ,
for the purpose of considering and acting upon a proposal to
vacate a portion of Bopp Street lying between U.S. Highway 218
and proposed Freeway I-380, requested by P & P Enterprises, Inc. ,
owned by the City of Waterloo, Iowa, described as follows:
The Northwest 60 feet of Lot 21, Murphy
Subdivision, except the southwest twelve
(12) feet all in the City of Waterloo,
Black Hawk County, Iowa.
with the City' s retention of and permanent easement over the
following described area.
The northwest forty (40) feet of Lot 21,
Murphy Subdivision, except the southwest
twelve (12) feet .
Section 2 - That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish
notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo
Courier.
Passed and adopted this 7th day of July, 1980.
