RESOLUTION ,APPROVING PAYMENT OF $16, 786. 36
ACCUMULATED SICK LEAVE AND VACATION PRY TO
HAROLD L. SMITH, CHIEF OF FIRE DEPARTMENT
IN THE CITY OF WATERLOO, I OWA.
WHEREAS, on the 15th day of July, 1980, Harold L. Smith
retired as Chief of the Fire Department in the City of Water-
loo, Iowa, and
WHEREAS, Harold L . Smith has accumulated 201 days of sick
leave and is entitled to payment for same, and
WHEREAS, Harold L. Smith has earned and is entitled to 18
days vacation pay, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO,
IOWA, that Harold L . Smith, be paid the total sum of $16, 786. 36
being payment in full for above mentioned sick leave and earned
vacation, and that the Finance Director be, and he is hereby,
authorized , empowered and ordered to draw a warrent accordingly
for said sum and deliver the same to Harold L . Smith.
Passed and adopted by City Council on the 7th day of July,
1980, approved by the Mayor on the 9th day of July, 1980.
