RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE USE OF COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT MONIES FOR THE CON-
STRUCTION OF REST ROOM FACILITIES IN CEDAR
RIVER PARK/STRAUB FIELD AREA AND AUTHORIZE THE
PARK COMMISSION TO ADVERTISE, ACCEPT BIDS AND
AWARD CONTRACT FOR THE FACILITY.
WHEREAS a need exists for the construction of restroom
facilities in the Cedar River Park/Straub Field area,
WHEREAS, Flood Control monies are available through the
CityZs Community Development Block Grant Program,
NOW, THEREFORE, EE. IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Waterloo, Iowa that :
to The construction of modern restroom facilities
be paid from Flood Control Monies of the Community
Development Block Grant Program and Budget and
2. The Park Commission advertise, accept bids ,
and award a contract as required by the Code of Iowa.
Passed and adopted this 14th day of July, 1980 .
