RESOLUTION APPROVING AMENDMENT TO CONTRACT
AGREEMENT FOR THE DISASTER RECOVERY BUSINESS
RENTAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM WITH TODD P.
WESTERN MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP FUND AND
DIRECTING EXECUTION OF SAID AMENDMENT BY
MAYOR.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA
that this Amendment is made to a certain Contract dated the 28'h
day of September, 2009 (herein referred to as the Contract), by
and between the City of Waterloo, Iowa (herein referred to as the
City) and Todd P. Western Memorial Scholarship Fund (herein
referred to as the Business),
WITNESSETH:
WHEREAS, the City and the Business have heretofore entered
into a certain Contract (Contract #BRAP039) dated the 28th day of
September, 2009; and,
WHEREAS, pursuant to Contract #BRAP039, the 6 month time
period being requested for assistance is shown as January through
June, 2009; and,
WHEREAS, the Business would like the 6 month assistance time
period to be changed to October of 2008 through March of 2009.
NOW, THEREFORE, the parties agree to amend page 1 of the
Contract Agreement dated the 28th day of September 2009 by
changing the rental assistance time period from January 2009
through June 2009 to October 2008 through March 2009. All other
terms and conditions of the Contract Agreement shall remain in
full force and effect.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties have caused this Amendment
to be executed, effective as of the last date stated below.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 19th day of January, 2010.
