RESOLUTION APPROVING THE SITE PLAN FOR CEDAR HILLS.
WHEREAS, Janes Youngblut has proposed that the Council of the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, approve a site plan for Cedar Hills located southwest of U.S.
Highway 218 and one quarter of a mile north of E. Orange Rd. and legally
described as follows:
A Parcel of land located in the SE4 and the SW4 of Section 18-
88-12, Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa, described as follows :
Beginning at the NE corner of Lot 20, Southdale, a subdivision
located in the SW4 of said Section 18; thence N. 65° 31' 30" E.
a distance of 100.77 feet; thence N. 23° 48' 58" E. a distance
of 573.58 feet; thence N. 290 18' 40" E. a distance of 74.40
feet; thence N. 27° 12' 15" E. a distance of 268.88 feet;
thence N. 11° 13' 34" E. a distance of 233.43 feet; thence N.
76° 48' 06" W. a distance of 39. 18 feet; thence N. 17° 14' 09"
E. a distance of 27.89 feet; thence N. 16° 08' 48" E. a distance
of 2.89 feet; thence N. 53° 55" 49" E. a distance of 30.58 feet;
thence S. 36° 04' 11" E. a distance of 200.00 feet; thence N.
53° 55' 49" E. a distance of 440.00 feet to the Southwesterly
R-O-W line of U.S. Hwy. No. 218; thence S. 36° 04' 11 " E. along
said Southwesterly R-O-W line a distance of 1,610.68 feet;
thence S. 36° 46' 28" E. along said Southwesterly R-O-W line
a distance of 47.73 feet to the North line of Southview Estates
Mobile Home Park, located in the SE4 and the SW4 of said Section
18; thence N. 89° 51' 36" W. along said North line a distance of
720.91 feet; thence S. 00° 08' 24" W. a distance of 225.00 feet;
thence N. 89° 51' 36" W. a distance of 1060.00 feet to the East
line of Southdale, thence N. 00° 29' 14" W. a distance of 108.58
feet; thence N. 34° 06' 30" W. a distance of 135.63 feet; thence
Southwesterly along a curve concave Northwesterly and having a
radius of 582.989 feet a distance of 63.74 feet; thence N. 27°
03' 08" W. a distance of 134. 16 feet to the point of beginning.
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on July 21, 1980, at 7:00 P.M. in the
Council Chambers in City Hall , Waterloo, Iowa, as provided by law, by the Council
of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, on the proposal to approve said above mentioned
site plan, and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of this Council that said site plan should be
approved as proposed, now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that the
site plan for Cedar Hills located southwest of U.S. Highway 218 and one quarter
mile north of E. Orange Rd. , be and the same is hereby approved.
Passed and adopted this 21st day of July, 1980, approved by the Mayor this
23rd day of July, 1980.
