RESOLUTION APPROVING THE COMPLETION REPORT AND RECOMMENDATION OF
ACCEPTANCE AS TO WORD AND MATERIALS FURNISHED BY BLACK HAWK PLUMBING
COMPANY FOR 600 BLOCK NORTH BARCLAY STREET SANITARY SERVICE
RELOCATION, CONTRACT NO. 194, ACCEPTING THE WORK AND AUTHORIZING
PAYMENT IN FULL ACCORDINGLY.
WHEREAS, Black Hawk Plumbing Company, of Waterloo, Iowa, have under contract
with the City of Waterloo, Iowa, dated April 14, 1980, furnished certain materials
and performed labor in connection with 600 Block North Barclay Street Sanitary
Service Relocation, Contract No. 194, in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, and
WHEREAS, the Completion Report of the Engineers for the work performed
and materials furnished by the said contractors, under said contract, is
$13,931. 51, being the total construction cost of this project, and
WHEREAS, under the terms of said contract said Contractors, Black Hawk
Plumbing Company, are to be paid 90% of the monthly estimates as furnished
be the Engineers for the City of Waterloo, Iowa, and
WHEREAS, the Completion Report and Recommendation of Acceptance dated
July 18, 1980, of the Engineers, certify that the work on this project has
now been completed by said contractors, now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA: That
Completion Report and the Recommendation of Acceptance of the Engineers be
approved, the work of Black Hawk Plumbing Company, Waterloo, Iowa, accepted,
that said contractors, Black Hawk Plumbing Company, Waterloo, Iowa, be paid the
sum of $12,538.36, being payment in full in accordance with the Engineers Report,
and the Finance Director be, and he is hereby, authorized, empowered and ordered
to draw a warrant accordingly for the sum of $12,538.36, and deliver the same to
the said Black Hawk Plumbing Company, Waterloo, Iowa.
