RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID OF LEHMAN TRUCKING AND
EKCAVATING COMPANY OF WATERLOO, IOWA FOR HACKETT ROAD
SANITARY SEWER LUMPING STATION STORAGE BASIN AND
CONTROLS IN THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, IN THE AMOUNT
OF $99 ,601.00 . HACKETT ROAD SANITARY SEWER PUMPING
STATION STORAGE BASIN AND CONTROLS CONTRACT NO, 206
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
That the bid of Lehman Trucking and Excavating Company of Waterloo,
Iowa for the Hackett Road Sanitary Sewer Pumping Station Storage
Basin and Controls in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, filed with the
City Clerk in accordance with the terms of the published notice
calling for proposals for the construction of the said improvement,
be and the same is hereby,accepted,the bid of Lehman Trucking and
Excavating Company in the amount of $99 ,601 .00,being the lowest
legal bid received on said proposal, and that tie contract be a=
warded to Lehman Trucking and Excavating Company of Waterloo, Iowa,
and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk be,
and they are hereby,authorized, instructed and ordered to enter into
a contract on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, for' th.e con-
struction of the said improvement with the said Lehman Trucking and
Excavating Company,but said contract shall not be binding upon
said city until the same has been duly approved by the Council.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all other bids for said improve-
ment be,and t'zey are hereby,rejected, and the City Clerk is hereby
authorized and directed to return unto the persons filing the same
the certified checks accompanying such rejected bids.
