RESOLUTION APPROVING THE SITE PLAN FOR MIDAS MUFFLER
SHOP.
WHEREAS, Midas Muffler Shop has proposed tnat the Council
of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, approve a site plan located at the
Crossroads Shopping Center and legally described as follows:
A Parcel of Land Located in the E of Section 2-88-13,
Waterloo, Black Hawk CournLy , Iowa, Described as Follows:.
Commencing at a point of the Southeasterly R-O-W line of
Iowa State Hwy. 412 which is 1457 . 72 Feet Northeasterly
from the intersection of said Soutneasterly R-O-W line with
the West line of The E' of said Section 2 ; Thence North-
easterly along said R-O-W line a Distance of 155 .36 Feet
Thence S .41 24 ' E. A Distance of 5 . 32 Feet; Thence N. 48
36 'E.A Distance of 20 .00 Feet , to the point of Beginning;
Thence N. 48°36 ' E A Distance of 125 .00 Feet; Thence S .
41° 24 ' E. A Distance of 294. 51 Feet ; Thence Southwesterly
along a curve concave Southeasterly and having a Radius
of 259 .87 Feet A Distance of 118.40 Feet; Thence S .48°
36 ' W. A Distance of 10 . 65 Feet; Thence N. 41 24" W. A
Distance of 268.00 Feet to the Point of Beginning.
Subject to an Easement over the Southeasterly 30 .00 Feet
thereof.
It is assumed that the southeasterly R-O-W-line of Iowa
State Hwy. 412 Bears N. 46°36 ' E. At the point where it
crosses the West line of the E of Section 2-88-13
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on August 18, 1980, at
7 :00 P.M. in the Council Chambers in City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa,
as provided by law, by the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa,
on the proposal to approve said above mentioned site plan,and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of this Council that said site
plan should be approved as proposed, ,19w, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO,
IOWA, that the site plan for Midas Muffler Shop located at the
Crossroads Shopping Center be and the same is hereby approved.
Passed and adopted this 18th day of August 198O,approved
by the Mayor this 20th day of August, 1980 .
