RESOLUTION ORDERING THE CONSTRUCION OF THE FY 1981
HIGHLAND PARK AREA SIDEWALK PROGRAM,CONTRACT NO0203
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. . / plan, specification,etc . ,
for the FY1981 Highland Park Area Sidewalk Program known as Contract
No 203,in the City of Waterloo, Iowa,have been approved and adopted
by this Council after the hearing perscribed by statute,now,therefore
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO,IOWA,
that it is deemed advisable and necessary and it is so ordered on
motion by this Council that the said improvements be constructed in
accordance with said plans and specifications .
That the work herein ordered is to be paid in monthly estimates ,
in cash,on the basis of 90% of the work as the same is completed
and materials delivered and the work approved,except that before the
last month's payment is made the contractor may be required to fur-
nish the City Council vouchers showing that all subcontractors
and workmen and persons furnishing materials have been fully paid
for such materials au, labor,and that City may retain the last
month 's payment for a period of 31 days following such completion
and approval,unless satisfied that materialsmen and laborers have
been paid.

C That said works shall be done by contract and shall be com=
menced promptly after receipt of "Notice o Proceed" and shall be
completed with thirty (30)calendar days thereafter,
