RESOLUTION APPROVING THE DESIGNATION OF AN URBAN RE-
VITALIZATION AREA IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD HOUSING SERVICES
AREA WITH TAX EXEMPTION SCHEDULE NO0 2
WHEREAS, authorization was given to proceed with developing
the necessary support data to establish an Urban Revitalization
District in the City of Waterloo, Iowa under Resolution No. 26901,
adopted March 24, 1980 and
WHEREAS,a plan for the designation of an Urban Revitalization
Area in the Neighborhood Housing Services area was prepared and
available for public review,and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on August 25 , 1980 and
notice was given as required by law,now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA
that an Urban Revitalization Area be designated for that area as
legally described in the plan and known as a portion of the
Neighborhood Housing Services area, with Tax Exemption Schedule
2 .
Passed and adopted this 2nd day of September, 1980 .
