RESOLUTION APPROVING THE SITE PLAN FOR FAITH EVANGELICAL
LUTHERAN CHURCH STAGE I.
WHEREAS, Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church has proposed that
the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa,approve a site plan for
Stage I for Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church located at the in-
tersection of West 4th Street and West Ridgeway Avenue and legally
described as follows :
The North 331 . 13 feet of the Northeast Fractional = of Section
5,Township 88 North, Range 13 West ,of the 5th. Principal
Meridian,Black Hawk County, Iowa, lying East of West Fourth
Street and West of West Ridge Addition,more particularly
described as follows :
Beginning at a pointoon the North line of Section 5-88-13
which bears South 89 52 ' West a distance of 1270 feet from
the Northeast corner of said Section 5 ; thence South 00°08 '
East on a line perpendicular to the North line of said Sec-
tion 5 a distance of 250 .81 feet to the Southwest corner of
Lot 3 of West Ridge Addition; thence South 24 07 ' West a dis-
tance of 88.09 feet along the Westerly line of said West
Ridge Addition to a point 331 . 13 feet perpendicular distance
South from the North line of said Section 5;thence South
89° 52 ' West on a line parallel to the North line of said
Section 5 a distance of 922072 feet more or less to the
centerline of West 4th Street;thence North 49°06 ' East along
the center line of said West 4th Street a distance of 507 . 1
feet more or less to the intersection of the centerline-of
West 4th Street and the North line of said Section 5; thence
North 89°52 ' East along the North line of said Section 5 a
distance of 574.83 feet more or less to the point of begin-
ning.Excepting all legal streets and highways .
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on September 22, 1980,at
7 :00 P.M. in the Council Chambers in City Hall,Waterloo ,Iowa, as
provided by law,by the Council of the City of Waterloo , Iowa,on the
proposal to approve said above mentioned site plan,and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of this Council that said site
plan should be approved as proposed,now,therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO
IOWA,that the site plan for Stage I of Faith Evangelical Lutheran
Church located at the intersection of West 4th Street and West
Ridgeway Avenue be and the same is hereby approved.
Passed and adopted this 22nd day of September, 1980,approved
by the Mayor this 24th day of September,1980 .
