RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID OF YOUNGBLUT CONSTRUCTION
COMPANY,INC . ,OF WATERLOO,IOWA FOR F.Y . 1981 SAN MARNAN
FRONTAGE ROAD PAVING PROGRAM IN THE CITY OF WATERLOO,
IOWA,IN THE AMOUNT OF $169 ,620 .46 CONTRACT NO. 208 .
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO,IOWA:
that the bid of Youngblut Construction Company Inc . ,of Washburn,
Iowa, for the F.Y . 1981 San Marnan Frontage Road Paving Program,in
the City of Waterloo,Iowa, filed with the City Clerk in accordance
with the terms of the published notice calling for proposals for
the construction of the said improvement,be,and the same is hereby,
accepted,the bid of Youngblut Construction Company Inc . in the amount
of $169 ,620 .44 being the lowest legal bid received on said proposal
and that the contract be awarded to Youngblut Construction Company,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk be, and
they are hereby ,authorized,instructed and ordered to enter into a
contract on behalf of the City of Waterloo,Iowa,for the construction
of the said improvement with the said Youngblut Construction Company
Inc . ,but said contract shall not be binding upon said City until
the same has been duly approved by the Council .
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all other bids for said improvement
be,and they are hereby,rejected,and the City Clerk is hereby au-
thorized and directed to return unto the persons filing the same
the certified checks accompanying such rejected bids .
Passed and adopted this 22nd day of September, 1980 .
