RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS FOR F.Y. 1981 CARRIAGE HILL
RETENTION BASIN,CONTRACT NO. 210 IN THE CITY OF WATERLOO,

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
that the following bids for the F.Y . 1981 Carriage Hill Retention
Basin,Contract No. 210 in the City of Waterloo, Iowa filed with the
City Clerk in accordance with the terms of the published notice
calling for proposals for the construction of the said improvement ,
be,and the same is hereby, accepted:
Section 1. McAninch Corporation $23,250 .00
Section 2 . Cedar Valley Corporation $10,936 . 75
Section 3 . Stokes Landscaping $ 3,899 .25
each being the lowest legal bid received on each section and that
the contract be awarded as listed above,and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk be,and
they are hereby,authorized, instructed and ordered to enter into a
contract on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa , fornJ . the construction
of the said improvement with the said McAninch Corporation,Cedar
H
s Valley Corporation and Stokes Landscaping,but said contract shall
not be binding upon said City until the same has been duly approved

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all other bids for said improvement
be,and they are hereby,rejected,and the City Clerk is hereby au-

thorized and directed to return unto the persons filing the sameCV 1-i the certified checks accompanying such rejected bids .
