RESOLUTION AFFIRMING AND APPROVING THE APPOINTMENT OF
JUNIOR GRIMM AS CHIEF OF POLICE AND GERALD OLSON AS
FIRE CHIEF.
WHEREAS, the Civil Service Commission has developed a pro-
cedure to review applicants for the position of Police and Fire
chief' s and
WHEREAS, said procedure has been adhered to,and
WHEREAS, the Mayor has reviewed the certified list, as pre-
sented by the Civil Service Commission,now,tnerefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO,IOWA
that Junior Grimm be appointed as Chief of Police and Gerald
Olson as Fire Chief.
Passed and adopted this 27th day of October,l980 .
