RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXPENDITURE OF $75,000 .00
FROM THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM
BUDGET FOR THE ACQUISTION OF PROPERTY FORMERLY OCCUPIED
BY CHRIST EPISCOPAL CHURCH.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo entered into an Agreement with
the Federal Government approving the Community Development Block
Grant Program and Budget ;and
WHEREAS, a line item of $75 ,000 .00 was approved for acquisition
of property; and
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WATERLOO,IOWA,
that $7`I,000 .00 be expended for acquistion of property formerly
occupied by Christ Episcopal Church for use for low-income hous-
ing for elerly and handicapped .
Passed and adopted this 27th day of October, 1980 .
