following Resolution entitled "RESOLUTION ACCEPTING WORK" and
moved its adoption. Council Member Getty seconded
the motion to adopt. The roll was called and the vote was,

Getty, Dowie, Burton, Bowers
NAYS: NONE
Whereupon the Mayor declared the following Resolution duly
adopted: Res . No . 27321
(CONTRACT NO. 176)
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING WORK
WHEREAS, on April 14 , 1980, Waterloo, Iowa, entered
into contract with Cedar Valley Corporation of
Waterloo , for the construction of the Waterloo,
Iowa, F.Y. 1980 Paving Program No. 1 - Contract No. 176,
within the City, as therein described; and
WHEREAS, said contractor has fully completed the construc-
tion of said improvements, known as the Waterloo, Iowa, F.Y.
1980 Paving Program No. 1 - Contract No. 176, in accordance
with the terms and conditions of said contract and plans and
specifications, as shown by the certificate of the Engineer
filed with the Clerk on October 23 , 1980 :
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
That said report of the Engineer be and the same is hereby
approved and adopted and said improvements are hereby approved
and accepted as having been fully completed in accordance with
the said plans, specifications and contract, and the total
project cost of the improvements under said contract is hereby
determined to be $ 221, 336 .24 as shown in said report of the
Engineer.
