RESOLUTION APPROVING ASSISTANCE AGREEMENT
WITH U.S. DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY AND DIRECTING
EXECUTION OF SAID AGREEMENT BY MAYOR.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the Assistance Agreement dated January 19, 2010, for Energy
Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant Program funding in the
amount of $665,300.00, with no required local match, to assist in
implementing strategies that reduce fossil fuel emissions, reduce
total energy use, and improve energy efficiency, by and between
the U. S. Department of Energy and the City of Waterloo, Iowa, be
and the same is hereby approved, and the Mayor authorized to
execute the same in behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 19th day of January, 2010.
