RESOLUTION NO. 2023-215
RESOLUTION APPROVING A COMMUNITY ATTRACTION
AND TOURISM GRANT AGREEMENT, IN THE AMOUNT OF
$1,000,000.00 FOR TRANSFORMING GATES AND BYRNES
PARKS, WITH AWARD EFFECTIVE DATE OF MARCH 2,
2023, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAID
DOCUMENT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the Community Attraction and Tourism Grant Agreement, in the amount of $1,000,000.00
for Transforming Gates and Byrnes Parks, with award effective date of March 2, 2023, is hereby
approved, and the Mayor is authorized and directed to execute the same on behalf of the City of
Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 3rd day of April 2023.
