RESOLUTION NO. 2023-181
RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC., SETTING
DATE OF BID OPENING AS APRIL 20, 2023, AND DATE OF
PUBLIC HEARING AS MAY 1, 2023, IN CONJUNCTION
WITH THE FY 2024 LEVEE RIP RAP SPRAYING,
CONTRACT NO. 1083, AND DIRECT CITY CLERK TO
PUBLISH SAID NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the preliminary plans, specifications, form of contract, etc., in
conjunction with the FY 2024 Levee Rip Rap Spraying, Contract No. 1083, are hereby approved.
Section 2. That the bid opening, in conjunction with the FY 2024 Levee Rip Rap
Spraying, Contract No. 1083, be scheduled for April 20, 2023 at 1:00 p.m., City Hall, Waterloo,
Iowa.
Section 3. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, meet in the Harold E. Getty
Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa, at 5:30 p.m. on the lst day of May 2023, to hold
a public hearing, in conjunction with the FY 2024 Levee Rip Rap Spraying, Contract No. 1083.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
