RESOLUTION NO. 2023-200
RESOLUTION CONFIRMING APPROVAL OF PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC., AND
AUTHORIZING TO PROCEED IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE
AIRPORT PAVEMENT REHABILITATION PROJECT TO
RUNWAY 12/30, TAXIWAY ALPHA EAST AND, TAXIWAY
ECHO, FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION, AIRPORT
IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM, PROJECT NO. 3-19-0094-0056.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, heretofore instructed the
Airport Director of said City to prepare and file plans, specifications, form of contract, etc., in
conjunction with the Airport Pavement Rehabilitation Project to Runway 12/30, Taxiway Alpha
East and, Taxiway Echo, Federal Aviation Administration, Airport Improvement Program,
Project No. 3-19-0094-0056, and
WHEREAS, said Airport Director did file said plans, specifications, form of contract,
etc., in conjunction with the Airport Pavement Rehabilitation Project to Runway 12/30, Taxiway
Alpha East and, Taxiway Echo, Federal Aviation Administration, Airport Improvement Program,
Project No. 3-19-0094-0056, and
WHEREAS, a public hearing, upon notice, was held on April 4, 2023.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that it is deemed advisable and necessary and it is so ordered on motion
by this Council that said plans, specifications, form of contract, etc., in conjunction with the
Airport Pavement Rehabilitation Project to Runway 12/30, Taxiway Alpha East and, Taxiway
Echo, Federal Aviation Administration, Airport Improvement Program, Project No. 3-19-0094-
0056, are hereby approved, and said project proceed in accordance with said specifications.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 3rd day of April 2023.
