RESOLUTION APPROVING REQUEST OF NAGLE SIGNS
FOR A MINOR SITE PLAN AMENDMENT TO THE "C-1,
C -Z" CONDITIONAL ZONING FOR PROPOSED SIGNAGE
RENOVATIONS AT THE SUBWAY STRIP MALL BUILDING
LOCATED AT 3620-3628 KIMBALL AVENUE.
WHEREAS, it has been proposed that the Council of the City
of Waterloo, Iowa, approve the request of Nagle Signs for a minor
Site Plan Amendment to the "C -1,C -Z" Conditional Zoning for
proposed signage renovations at the Subway strip mall building
located at 3620-3628 Kimball Avenue, legally described as
follows:
Grangers Second Addition North 115.90 feet East 227.32
feet Lot 155 Lot 156 except North 110 feet and subject
to easement Book 015 Page 213, all in the City of
Waterloo, Black Hawk County, State of Iowa.
WHEREAS, due to the insignificant nature of said minor Site
Plan Amendment, the Council did not deem it necessary to hold a
public hearing, and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of this Council that said minor
Site Plan Amendment should be approved as proposed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that the minor Site Plan Amendment to the
"C -1,C -Z" Conditional Zoning for proposed signage renovations at
the Subway strip mall building located at 3620-3628 Kimball
Avenue, be and the same is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 25th day of January, 2010, and
approved by the Mayor this 27th day of January, 2010.
