RESOLUTION APPROVING AMENDMENT NO. 5 TO THE
STATE JUMPSTART HOUSING ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
GRANT AGREEMENT WITH IOWA DEPARTMENT OF
ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AND DIRECTING EXECUTION
OF SAID AMENDMENT BY MAYOR.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that Amendment No. 5 to the State Jumpstart Housing Assistance
Program Grant Agreement dated January 25, 2010, to amend article
references in the contract, amend award amount from $1,892,723.00
to $3,224,208.00, amend contract end date to September 30, 2010,
and insert a revised Attachment E and H to assist eligible
residents whose homes were damaged following the natural
disasters of 2008, by and between the Iowa Department of Economic
Development and the City of Waterloo, Iowa, be and the same is
hereby approved, and the Mayor authorized to execute the same in
behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 25th day f January, 2010.
